Look back at what we’ve been up to

Event poster for Common Ground Craft Club's coffee and art workshop on February 8, 2026, from 11 am to 2 pm at 1777 Clement Ave, Alameda, featuring a coffee bar, artisan bites, and a guided collage workshop. The poster has a artistic design with watercolor elements, an illustration of three coffee cups, a vinyl record at the bottom, and a woman with an Afro hairstyle at the lower right.

What to Expect

  • We blend guided moments, open exploration, and space to reflect—so the experience feels both focused and fluid.

  • Connection is a core part of the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself.

  • Led by experienced guides who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose.

  • Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.

Sample Schedule

  • Workshop participants ease into the day with creative prompts and space to connect to get grounded and set the tone.

  • Our first session will focus on the foundations of analog layered collage and composition. From extraction tools to color basics to and style tips, you’ll dig through a collection of curated vintage and modern print media to see what inspires you. Building confidence and finding your creative rhythm, with joy of process at the center.

  • Final touches and clean up
